Get better soon...

Last night I finished another card. This one is for my aunt who is in the hospital. I used the card parts I received when I took a Basic Copics card class from Memory Bound in Ankeny. I don't know where the image came from; I used my Copics to color it. I hope she will like it and gets better soon.

Copics used: YR09, Y19, G12, G14, G17, B91, B93, B97.

Whales In Love

Here is my card using Taylor's cute whale stamp. It was colored with Copic markers and embossed using the swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. You can see more of these cute stamps at Taylor's website. Just click here. Thanks again Taylor. The border is the new Creative Memories Love Struck Maker border punch.

Copics used R20, R22, R24, B21 & B24.

Copic Class

Just in case you didn't notice I have something new on my blog. Copic had a certification class on Saturday here in Des Moines and I attended. Now I am a Copic certified. Lori Craig and Sharon Harnist were the instructors and boy did I learn a lot of new stuff about Copics. But I still have a lot more to learn. Check out their blogs; they do amazing stuff. The examples they had at class were awesome. I can't wait to use some of their techniques. I also met Taylor from Taylored Expressions. She gave each participant one of her cute stamps and I got two whales kissing with hearts called "Whales in Love." So super cute. Thanks Taylor. I plan on making a card using my new stamp and posting it later in the week. Taylor also does card kits that I want to check out. Stop by again later this week to see my new "Whale in Love" card.
